Shannon Dunne Dance is an intergenerational dance company, committed to the practice, preservation, and performance of sean-nos dancing. Our full-length stage show features percussive dancers performing to live music, presenting a unique blend of choreography and improvisation. Depending on your needs, the company is available to present an abridged show and/or selections from our repertoire.

An intimate 50 minute one-woman stage show or house concert, featuring Shannon reflecting on her fifteen-year career in Irish music and dance.

Shannon Dunne and her collaborators present engaging, interactive programs for schools, libraries, and community centers based on their love of traditional music and dance. Their diverse talents – old style percussive and social dance, traditional song, and Irish tunes on a variety of instruments – are showcased through the story of their friendships and their adventures learning music in the days before YouTube.

Workshops
Shannon Dunne Dance will create a unique educational dance experience for your community or school. Through the teaching of sean-nos dance technique, group social dances, and traditional dances from our repertoire participants will enhance their knowledge of Irish dance and music and grow their listening and collaborative skills. Live music is provided.

Ceilis & Social Events
Shannon Dunne will plan and host a traditional Irish ceilis, or dance party featuring live music. Shannon teaches and calls a wide range of interactive social dances perfect for all ages and levels of experience.
